Our company operates in accordance with the Disability Discrimination Act 1995 and the Equality Act 2010 and, as such, we encourage all prospective guests to talk to us about any special accommodation requirements they may have. This Privacy Policy (together with Hyde Park Residence’s terms of use and any other documents referred to in it) sets out the privacy policy of Hyde Park Residence (“HPR”, “we”, “us”, “our”). It sets out the basis on which any personal data we collect from you, or that you provide to us, will be processed by us.  Please read the following carefully to understand our views and practices regarding your personal data and how we will treat it. By visiting www.hpr.co.uk, or our premises at 55 and 60 Park Lane, London you are accepting and consenting to the practices described in this Privacy Policy.

HPR is legally obliged to safeguard and use your personal data in line with all laws concerning the protection of personal data, including the Data Protection Act 1998 and the General Data Protection Regulations 2018 (these laws are referred to collectively in this Privacy Policy as the “data protection laws”). Hyde Park Residence is the Data Controller.

Data we may collect from you

We may collect and process the following data about you:

1. Data you give us.

a)   You may give us data about you by filling in forms on our Website at www.hpr.co.uk, signing up to receive HPR newsletters or by corresponding with us by telephone, e-mail or otherwise.

b)   You may also provide us with data when you enter a competition, promotion or survey, attend an event and when you report a problem with our Website.

c)   You will also need to provide data when arranging letting agreements, and other arrangements required for the purchase of our services, including those required by law.

d)   The data you give us may include your name, address, e-mail address and phone number. If you provide a passport, the data will also include your place of birth, gender, facial image and nationality.

2)   Data we collect about you.

a)   With regard to each of your visits we may automatically collect technical data, including the internet protocol (IP) address used to connect your computer to the internet, your login information, browser type and version, time zone setting, browser plug-in types and versions, operating system and platform.  We may also automatically collect data about your visit, including the full Uniform Resource Locators (URLs) clickstream to, through and from our Website (including date and time), pages you viewed or searched for, page response times, download errors, length of visits to certain pages, page interaction information (such as scrolling, clicks and mouse-overs), and methods used to browse away from the page and any phone number used to call our customer service number.

3.  Data we receive from other sources.

a)   We may receive data about you if you use any of the other websites we operate or the other services we provide. In this case we will have informed you when we collected that data.

b)   We collect data from publicly available sources when you have given your consent to share information or where the information is made public as a matter of law.

c)   Your image may be recorded when you use our premises where CCTV systems are operated for the security of both customers and colleagues.

1)   Provide you with information about our products and services. If you sign up to receive HPR newsletters you will be asked to register your name and email details and will be asked to provide consent to receive further materials from HPR. By providing such consent, you agree to receive information about HPR. If you would prefer to receive information about specific HPR entities, you will be asked to select these entities and express some content preferences. An unsubscribe link will always be provided within the newsletters, and also a link to manage your content preferences and contact details.

2)   Provide you with information about additional products or services we feel may interest you. If you are an existing customer, we will only contact you by electronic means (email or SMS) with information about products and services similar to those which you have shown interest in before. If you are a new customer we will contact you by electronic means only if you have consented to this. If you do not want us to use your data in this way please tick the relevant box situated on the registration form on which we collect your data and notify you about changes to our services and the Website.

3)   Administer our Website and for internal operations, including troubleshooting, data analysis, testing, research, statistical and survey purposes;

4)   Improve our Website to ensure that content is presented in the most effective manner for you and for your computer;

We will retain your information on our secure servers (to the extent permitted by the data protection laws) to enable us to use it for the purposes described in this Privacy Policy.

In accordance with Article 5 (e) of GDPR personal data will be stored for no longer than is necessary for the purposes for which it is being processed.

The data that we collect from you may be transferred to, and stored at, a destination outside the European Economic Area (“EEA”).  It may also be processed by staff operating outside the EEA who work for HPR and their suppliers. Such staff may be engaged in, among other things, the fulfilment of your order and the provision of support services.  By submitting your personal data you agree to this transfer, storing or processing. We will take all steps reasonably necessary to ensure that your data is treated securely and in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

All data you provide to us is stored on our secure servers.
